Travel Tips
Although each of these tips has
value, I don't make any claims for their legitimacy or advisability.
In other words, I hereby abdicate all responsibility for these tips
--you
are on your own!

I've selected some very useful
(and hard to find)
Travel
Tools & Hardware
that you may not have thought of
and that will make your traveling easier and safer. |
| Flashlight
This is a super lightweight flashlight
that seems to last forever . . . and is much brighter than you might
think! Click on the link to find out more. |

PAK-LITE LED FLASHLIGHT W/ALKALINE BATTERY |
Electrical Tape, Assorted Colors
I use this to mark my luggage, MacGyver
packs, flashlights, tools, etc., with a unique color combination so that I
can easily identify it as mine.
|
|
| Cloth Color Duct Tape
This is the most essential extra helper you can bring with you
while you travel. You can use it for emergency repairs of luggage, purses,
and packs, to mend clothing (tape a rip from the inside and you won't even see a
seam!), to package extra items that won't fit in your luggage, perform minor
vehicle repairs --the list is virtually endless! |
|
| Velcro wraps
Keep a few of these handy computer cable
wraps in case you need to make a quick luggage repair . . . or to use as a
bright identifier for your luggage. (They come in several colors) |

| Eyeglass
repair kit Even if
you don't wear specs, this nifty kit will help with lots of other repairs,
too: luggage hardware, electronic devices, and more. |
