Midterm exaxm update

Current plans are that the midterm will go on as scheduled.

It will cover the material from Tests 1, 2, an 3.

Because the weather has disrupted our lecture schedule for some classes,
I just posted a "catch up lecture" if you need it.

It's in two parts and covers "adaptive immunity."

To access the catch up lectures, go to the Lymph-Immunity entry of the
Course Organizer (in the left menu bar of Web CT, or from the WebCT course home page).
There also an audio-only version of each part available.

If the campus is closed or classes cancelled at a scheduled exam time,
the exam will be held on the next available class day.

March 6 cancellation

Due to a prior commitment, Kevin's classes for March 6 are cancelled.

Midterm Exam

The midterm exam is coming up soon. Please see the exam instructions regarding how to prepare for it. This midterm will cover the material from Tests 1 through 3 only (not Test 0 or Test 4).

You may get credit for attending the BODY WORLD 3 exhibit at the St. Louis Science Center beginning Oct 19. For information, go to http://www.slsc.org/content.aspx?id=3255

To get credit, up to 10 points, you must do ALL of the following.

1. Attend the exhibit. Submit a photocopy of a ticket or receipt showing that you attended AND a photograph of you in front of the science center or exhibit entrance.

2. Along with the above, submit a brief statement about your experience at the exhibit (what you liked, didn't like, what you learned, etc.). It should be one or two paragraphs, but NOT more than one page.

The better written it is, the more points you'll get!

Deadline is May 1, as for all other extra credit.

This is only available to those who did not already get credit for Body Worlds last semester.  The exhibit is scheduled to close in March.
